Step 1 First of all, open up your image of the eye you would like to colorize, this could be a whole face image, or a close up of the eye - which i will be using for teaching purposes in this tutorial.
Step 2 Now we want to make a selection of the eye itself. To do this we will just use the
Step 3 We need to be careful with the selection of the eye, because in its current state, when we want to colourize, the eye-lid will also be coloured. Therefore we need to deselect the area where the eye lid has been selected. To do this we will simple use the
Step 4 Now onto the fun part, deciding what colour you would like to make your eye! On the bottom of your layers pallete, clck on the "create new fill or adjustment layer", and click on "color balance". A keyboard shortcut for this is CTRL + B. what should I do?
Hi Lilia,
Are you talking about the little white dot on the eye in the upper right hand corner?
If so, thats because thats how the image was in the first place. Try using the image that i used in the start and see if that helps
If not, create a new layer, take a small soft round brush, colour white, and dab it in the corner to create the same effect.
